TRIAD'S GOT TALENT Presented by Open Door Ministries

Open Door Ministries of High Point and the High Point Theatre are pleased to announce an exciting new event coming in February 2015, “Triad’s Got Talent” presented by _____________.  Triad’s Got Talent provides an opportunity for the most talented performers in the Greater Triad area to compete for the title of Triad’s Top Talent (or Triad’s Most Talented).  Triad resident and four-time Grammy Award winner, Anthony Dean Griffey, suggested to establish this event as a way to identify and discover the many talents in our community, as well as a means to raise funds for the critical programs and services offered by Open Door Ministries of High Point. Triad’s Got Talent is extending an opportunity to all types of talent including singers, musical groups, dancers, comedians, magicians, and more to enter this competition.  “I know there are many talented performers in the Triad” says Griffey,  “and the opportunity to compete on stage in front of a live audience with professional judges is invaluable and could launch a career.”  

 

Unlisted YouTube Videos of no more than 3 minutes in length of the acts will be accepted until October 31, 2014 and should be sent to: triadsgottalent@gmail.com.  A panel of judges, led by Tony Griffey, will select the acts that will compete in the live show of Triad’s Got Talent, on Saturday, February 7, 2015.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners, 1st - $1,000, 2nd - $500, and 3rd - $250. There will also be an award given to the People’s Choice act, which is selected by the audience on the night of the event. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Open Door Ministries serving the many needs of the hungry, homeless, and veterans in our area.
